Founded in May 1999,
SmallBizManager evolved through our own past start-up
activites with other businesses. In the process, what
we came to realize was that while there was no shortage
of great resources on the Internet, there was no site
that provided an objective, easy-to-use set of resources
for the many different functions related to running
a small business.
As a B2B portal providing resources, tools and product
and service recommendations, SmallBizManager is dedicated
to supporting the needs of the small business community
by:
1. Focusing exclusively
on the specific needs of small business professionals
at all stages of their venture - from start-up to
operations to marketing - to ultimately save them
time and money.
2. Objectively reviewing
and filtering literally thousands of potentially relevant
products and services, in order to recommend a manageable
selection of "best of breed" providers.
To support the objectivity of its recommendations,
providers cannot "buy" their way into our
site - SmallBizManager will not engage in exclusive
partnerships with any provider.

Presenting resources in a convenient, easy-to-navigate
format that lets our users find what they need quickly.
SmallBizManager is a "transaction-oriented"
site, designed to help members quickly find the best
sources for the products and services they need.
SmallBizManager generates
revenue through both onsite and email based advertising.
SmallBizManager has established partnerships with a
number of companies represented within the site, and
with these providers, also earns revenue based on leads
or sales generated from SmallBizManager members.
